Rules and Regulations

Code of Conduct

 

By entering the Little Miss, Junior Miss, Miss Teen, Mrs and Miss Divine UK competition you are agreeing to all of the organisations Terms, Conditions, Rules, Regulations and are confirming your eligibility to compete. 

 

Miss Divine

To compete in this category of the competition, you must be unmarried as of the start date of the Miss Divine UK finals. We do not discriminate; this is purely because our married contestants must compete in the Mrs. category. You must be 19 to 30 years of age as of the date and year you compete (24th September 2017). It is acceptable to be 18 years of age when you enter and during the lead up to the competition as long as you are 19 years of age from the competition date onwards. All of our contestants must be a British citizen or live in the United Kingdom/Great Britain/Ireland as winning the title will be to represent this country.

 

Miss Teen Divine UK

To compete in this category of the competition, you must be at least 14 and cannot be older than 18 as of the date and year you compete (24th September 2017). It is acceptable to be 13 years of age when you enter and during the lead up to the competition as long as you are 14 years of age from the competition date onwards. All of our contestants must be a British citizen or live in the United Kingdom/Great Britain/Ireland as winning the title will be to represent this country.

 

All contestants must be unmarried, continue to stay unmarried and cannot become engaged to be married throughout their reign if she takes the title of Miss Teen Divine UK. We do not discriminate; this is purely because our married contestants must compete in the Mrs. category. Also, it is important that all contestants in this category behave and present themselves in an age appropriate manor.

 

If our contestants are under 18 years of age as of the start of our UK Final of Miss Divine, they are expected to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

 

Junior Miss Divine UK

To compete in this category of the competition, you must be at least 12 years of age and cannot be older than 14 years of age as of the date and year that you compete (24th September 2017). It is acceptable to be 11 years of age when entering and during the lead up to the competition as long as you are 12 years of age from the competition date onwards.

 

If our contestants are under 18 years of age as of the start of our UK Final of Miss Divine, they are expected to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

 

Little Miss Divine UK

To compete in this category of the competition, you must be at least 5 years of age and cannot be older than 8 years of age as of the date and year you compete (24th September 2017). It is acceptable to be 4 years of age when you enter and during the lead up to the competition as long as you are 5 years of age from the competition date onwards. All of our contestants must be a British citizen or live in the United Kingdom/Great Britain/Ireland as winning the title will be to represent this country.

 

If our contestants are under 18 years of age as of the start of our UK Final of Miss Divine, they are expected to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

 

Mrs Divine UK

Must be legally married.

 

Rules and Regulations

 

1) All Miss Divine UK contestants must be born within the United Kingdom or have at least six month’s continuous residency while competing in the Miss Divine UK system.

2) Our Miss Divine UK contestants must have no background, history or current criminal record of any sort. If the Miss Divine organisation find any criminal information about a contestant, they have every right to remove the individual from the competition without refund.

 

3) A Miss Divine contestant must have nothing in their background that could bring any distribute to the organisation. This includes any inappropriate or controversial language and content throughout their social media accounts and within their personal lives.

 

4) While representing the Miss Divine UK system, all contestants will present themselves in an appropriate, professional and courteous manner. Any behavior that we deem inappropriate (for example, using violent or aggressive behavior, bullying/victimization, questionable moral actions or bad language) could possibly lead to a loss of a title or being removed from the competition without refund.

 

5) Any Miss Divine UK contestant under the age of 18 must not drink alcohol or glamourize a party lifestyle in any sort of way. Involvement in any illegal actions could result in being removed from the competition without refund.

 

6) All contestants above the age of 18 must be aware of their public use of alcohol. Being a title holder enables you to become a role model to people of all ages and some may not view casually drinking alcohol as morally acceptable. Refrain from posting images on your social media pages of heavy alcohol consumption and glamourizing any sort of an unhealthy lifestyle. Please keep this to your personal life.

 

7) Posing in non-age appropriate images/photographs is deemed as inappropriate and can result in becoming disqualified from the competition without refund. Photographs that display a contestant completely nude (showing breasts and/or more) are prohibited. Teen contestants and lower age categories cannot pose provocatively for any photographers or post seductive/inappropriate images on their social media accounts. (Miss Divine UK stands for female empowerment, body acceptance and self-love so we love contestants who can embrace their bodies – But, our contestants and winners become role models to people of all ages, so it is essential that we have nothing that can bring any controversy to the Miss Divine UK system or that will offend any sponsors, fans and viewers.)

 

8) Illegal drug use will result in immediate disqualification without refund.

 

9) All Miss Divine UK contestants must not slander or libel the Miss Divine UK organisation, staff, judges, hosts, contestants, sponsors or any other individuals associated with the system. Defamatory verbal, published and/or written remarks against the Miss Divine UK, Make It Happen Event Management and associated team will result in an immediate disqualification and/or title loss without refund as well as forfeit of all prizes and may face legal charges.

10) If the Miss Divine UK team find any slanderous remarks, untrue information and inappropriate announcements published on any social media accounts or media as a whole regarding our organisations then we will be forced to immediately remove that contestant from the competition. We also have the rights to disapprove the individual from applying for future Miss Divine UK events, as well as taking legal actions.

 

11) By entering Miss Divine UK (in all divisions) you have agreed to abide by all of the organisations Terms and Conditions and Rules and Regulations. Breaking any of the Terms and Conditions could result in immediate removal and disqualification of the competition without refund.

 

12) If you win Little Miss, Junior Miss, Miss Teen, Mrs or Miss Divine UK then you will be required to sign a contract (Code of Conduct) agreeing to abide by all of the organisations Terms, Conditions, Rules and Regulations. If you fail to abide by these then the Miss Divine UK organisation have the right to remove the title, which will then be passed on the the 1st RU (the contestant that came second).

13) All contestants are required to make at least ONE appearance in the lead up to the competition. If you fail to complete one appearance, you will not be able to receive the extra bonus points.

 

14) After winning the Little Miss, Junior Miss, Miss Teen, Mrs or Miss Divine UK national title you must make at least fifteen (15) appearances approved by the organizers throughout your reign as a title holder. This will be in the contract that you sign after winning the title. If there is an issue (for example, school, work or personal life commitments) that stand in the titleholder’s way of making appearances, this must be discussed with the organizers prior.

 

15) The official language for the Miss Divine UK organisation is English. It is not required for our titleholders first language to be English, but they must be able to fluently speak the language.

 

16) All contestants must either be; Born in the United Kingdom/Great Britain/Ireland, prior or current residency in the country, prior or current employment in the country, prior or current student status in the country, current or prior property ownership in the country or have heritage of the country.

 

17) Former winners of the Little Miss, Junior Miss, Miss Teen, Mrs or Miss Divine UK titles cannot re-compete for the same title (for example, if you win Miss Divine UK, you cannot re-enter to compete for that title again). Although, past winners can compete again for a different title (for example, if you win Little Miss Divine UK, you can come back after a year and compete for the Junior Miss Divine UK title).

 

18) If you win the Little Miss, Junior Miss, Miss Teen, Mrs or Miss Divine UK title you can no longer compete or enter any regional, national or international pageant or beauty competition. If a titleholder is considering entering another pageant towards the end of her reign (if the competition is held after she has handed over her title) this should be discussed with the directors/organizers of the Miss Divine UK system first.

 

19) Titleholders must discuss with the directors/organizers all appearances, including; modelling/photoshoots, radio, television/film as well as any other matters relating to the competition and title during her reign.   

 

20) The Miss Divine UK and Make It Happen Event Management organisations (including all staff and individuals associated with the organisations) are not responsible for any loss of property, theft, accidents or injuries that occur during the Miss Divine UK finals, prior to the finals, after the finals or on the journey (travelling) to the finals.

21) Once you have confirmed and secured your place in the Little Miss, Junior Miss, Miss Teen, Mrs or Miss Divine UK finals, you will not be able to receive a refund of your payment. Paying the fee confirms that you will be attending and competing in the grand finals which pays for your place at the event and more. Another reason that we do not permit refunds is also because while you were accepted as a finalist, another female was declined and this may seem unfair or unfortunate, but the place still has to be paid for.
